A small kitchen located in Baltimore’s Orchard’s neighborhood. The kitchen was walled off from dining and living room. It was so narrow, only one person could work in kitchen at a time.
During construction, the wall between kitchen and dining was removed, though the family dining table was kept in the space. Separating the kitchen and dining is now a long island with room for four stools. All the kitchen zones moved to better locations creating a smooth work area, large enough for several family members to cook together.
The new kitchen has a cheerful blue and white color theme. White painted maple cabinets and white and grey veined quartz counter tops. The kitchen window is topped by a custom made valance in the kitchen colors.
